Walking Tracks First and foremost is the proud statement that Walhalla is the start (or should that be end) of the Alpine Walking Track (650 km to ACT) that can be done all at once or why not walk it in stages. Shorter and easier walks are numerous around the area, however one not to miss is along the old tram track halfway up the hill and that gives you breathtaking views of the town. If you are still keen another well known trek is up to the Cricket ground. It begins opposite Spetts Cottage and is 45 minute walk up a steep hill to see the ground which has been carved out of the top of the hill as there was insufficient flat land to make one down in the Valley.

Winery Boola Boola Tearooms and Winery has many and varied crafts to look as well as tastings and cellar door sales. Phone 5165 3223 for more details.
