The cabin was constructed in the early seventies and was originally known as the railway headquarters. Mr Ron Kain had a vision to rebuild the railway line and he built the log cabin as part of his venture using all local materials.

Today it has been renovated to offer guests a unique opportunity to step back in time and enjoy Walhalla as it would have been during the gold rush days.

The cabin is in a quiet bushland setting overlooking the recently recreated Walhalla Goldfields Railway Station, it offers privacy and is within walking distance to the main attractions of Walhalla.
